Because I'm Happy

Ever since I can remember, my family has been saying what we are grateful for at the dinner table. It started as a little thing we did before dinner and has transitioned into a tradition we all love and will carry onto our future little families. 

While some may see this as a little daunting, we always tell friends that visit for dinner that you can be grateful for anything and everything! {We've even said we are grateful for ketchup!} 

Today, I hope you can reflect on what you are grateful for! I think being grateful is the key to happyness.

Giving Back

I cannot believe how quickly the holidays have come this year! 

I'm kicking off this holiday season with a cozy way to give back.  

Giving back has always been important to me and my family. Each Christmas, we collect and donate toys for Children's Hospital.  It is so rewarding to help a child and a family who is in the hospital for the holidays. 

This year,  the Toms for Target Collection is launching on November 16. 

The limited edition collection will donate shoes, a blanket or a meal to those in need for each purchase made.

Apartment Decor

As a recent college graduate, moving into my first apartment was an exciting life step.

The thought of making this blah apartment beautiful was a goal of mine....because your home should be one of your happiest places.

With pieces collected over the years from flea markets to antique stores, and the help of fabulous inspirations like White Ironstone Cottage blog & of course Pinterest we have created a home that is inviting, cozy and most of all HAPPY!

I especially like having a verse for the week for encouragement.
